Best. Birthday. Ever.

A few shots, plus video, of my 60th birthday party, a/k/a the Autumn Vineyard Session. Wish there were more photos - but I was torn between wanting to play music, be a proper and attentive hostess, and tending to the food and drink. Great music, friends, and family - it doesn't get any better than this - and the weekend was highlighted by an amazing performance Saturday night by Brendan Begley and Caomhin O Raghallaigh up at FOCUS. We were like a clown act in the circus, traipsing up-island to the concert, then back home to get our instruments - somehow managing to fit six people in my little Saturn - then back up-island for a party that didn't happen, then careening back down dark and twisty Lambert's Cove Road, back to my house where the music continued until 4am. This was a total blast - I am already planning next year's event.
