A rare solo performance by Teada's Oisin Mac Diarmada - stark, pure, bare bones. Shot with my G9 (getting ready to upgrade to one of the hot new P&Ss with faster lens and noise-free high ISOs); hand-held, slow shutter speed, available light (ghastly back-lighting), noise reduction thanks to LR3. Mr. Mac Diarmada was a delight - not only playing his fiddle brilliantly, but also charming his audience - a full house on this Vineyard Columbus Day weekend - with stories and history, of the music and of Ireland.
