Sara Piazza > These stone buildings and archways (slightly light-struck here) are representative of the architecture during what must have been the original creation of the Muddy River section of the Emerald Necklace. The Emerald Necklace, a green-way that runs from the Back Bay to Franklin Park, was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted - yes, also of NYC's Central Park fame - in the late 1800s.
